Tweetdeck- Another Twitter Client

There are plenty of desktop clients for tweeter that allows you to manage your tweets & replies. One more such client is tweetdeck created by louis gray. This application is free & in beta so expect more features soon.Get it from http://tweetdeck.com

What is tweetdeck?

Tweetdeck is adobe AIR application for Twitter that allows you group,filter & search incoming tweets for you.

 

Features

Tweetdeck allows you to arrange replies in columns, you can even search your tweets from search function (this feature of summize is now part of twitter officially). You can define upto 10 different columns. 

Status messages can be seen at the bottom right of the client, you can see “Rate limit exceeded” etc type of messages. At the left corner,you’ll see the message that indicates when last tweet was received etc. 

Columns & Groups

Columns can be arranged like “All tweets” etc, but this will definitely occupy the large portion of the screen. Group feature is very useful if you follow lot of people then you can group and then follow your friends & tweets. It can show you last 48hrs tweets in the tweeters database.

 

Other than above mentioned features, there is URL shortner is available right below the tweet entry box. 

It is written in Adobe AIR so it is available for multiple operating systems like Mac OSX, Windows, Linux.  You can download it right away & start organizing your twitter experience.
